About Kim Yoon McLaughlin | RS-77917 (CBDA, CREN, GREEN)

Kim Yoon McLaughlin is a longtime resident of Maui for well over 2 decades.  She is known to be a community builder and has devoted her life outside of Real Estate to helping the people that make Maui the special Island that we all love. Kim has a lifelong passion of helping others and was the President and Co-Founder of Boots On The Ground Maui.  The not-for-profit organization was a consistent supporter of the Maui Fire Department and fire survivor families of the August 2023 tragedy.   Her company was nominated to  film a TV show called Random Acts, partnered with Make-A-Wish Foundation which made a young girl’s wish of coming to Maui and help Maui fire survivor children a reality.

Kim is dedicated to helping those that are still rising to their best life.  Her dedication and donations to her community have been given acknowledgement over the years in news outlets such as the Maui News, KITV, BBC, ABC and NPR.  As well, Kim has had a fun filled career as a Real Estate TV Host for HGTV’s Hawaii Life! And the two-time Emmy nominated show The American Dream which showcases on HGTV, Trvl channel, Prime Video, Apple TV, Roku CNBC, Bloomberg and more. 

Being an avid athlete is a foundation for maintaining discipline and over all wellness.  Kim represented the Island of Maui in the 2022 Spartan Obstacle Course Racing World Championships in Sparta, Greece.  Placing 11^th overall in the world was just one of many athletic and personal successes outside of real estate.  You can often find Kim refreshing her energy in her gardens, out running the trails, or enjoying time with her loved ones.

Kim has assisted her clients in the acquisition and sales of their properties as well as brings to the table almost a decade of both short term vacation rental and long term rental property management experience.  Known to be a high touch communicator coupled with being extremely responsive, her clients enjoy a seamless process even in the face of challenges.  Her philosophy on Real Estate is that every human deserves a home, and everyone deserves to accomplish their dreams.  Whether it is a first-time purchase, an investment property for building your wealth or a sale to transition one asset into a new one, Kim is thrilled to assist you on your journey and brings not just a wealth of knowledge but also millions of dollars of transactional experience to the table.
